A brand owner can use Adobe Express to explore visual treatments for social posts, then assemble the selected images around approved words. The harder part is keeping every claim, quotation, file and posting account straight across a month. This guide gives a social editor a way to do that for an Instagram image carousel, a separate LinkedIn PDF document post, quote cards and 30 dated calendar entries. It follows current product documentation; BIG CHANGE did not run a brand account, generate the files or schedule posts.

The finished work is a set of files the owner has reopened and approved, plus 30 individually checked calendar rows. A row is scheduled only when the chosen platform shows the saved post under the intended account. A calendar of ideas, an exported design or a click on Schedule does not establish that result.

## The big change

- **What changed:** Adobe Express can generate visual candidates and assemble multipage designs; its scheduler supports Instagram image carousels. A separate single-PDF document route serves LinkedIn.
- **Why it matters:** A source and rights ledger can tie generated visuals, exact words, exports and 30 dated decisions to the intended accounts.
- **What to watch:** PDF scheduling depends on the actual LinkedIn composer or an authorized Hootsuite connection. Read back every saved and eventual post state.

## Before you begin: access, costs and limits

This documentation-based guide was checked against official Adobe, LinkedIn and Hootsuite help on **21 October 2026**. Have an Adobe Express account that exposes Generate image, the approved brand kit and source/rights records, file export access, and an owner for both social accounts. Check the current Adobe plan and credit balance before generation; [Adobe's plan page](https://helpx.adobe.com/express/web/adobe-express-subscription/premium.html) explains where to inspect membership, while its [pricing comparison](https://www.adobe.com/express/pricing) shows that generation allowance, brand controls and account scheduling capacity differ by plan. Do not assume this workflow is free or start a paid upgrade without the owner's decision. Licensed assets and premium content can also affect export rights.

For automatic Instagram posting, the intended Business or Creator account must link to a Facebook Page the operator manages. For a LinkedIn Page, verify the actual posting/admin role. A scheduled PDF requires either document scheduling in that account's native composer or a [Hootsuite plan](https://www.hootsuite.com/plans) the owner has authorized, with the intended LinkedIn Page or profile connected and the necessary LinkedIn and Hootsuite connection permissions. Hootsuite describes a trial and paid plans; check its current terms, posting limits and cost for your own account. The account-specific PDF route can be blocked even when file creation succeeds.

## Gather the material you are allowed to use

**1. Write down the real inputs before opening the image generator.** Collect the brand's approved logo, colors, fonts and use rules; source documents for product facts and offers; exact permitted quotations with speaker and context; licensed or owned reference imagery; approved destinations for calls to action; and the names of people who can approve creative and posting. Record the allowed channel and use for every claim, quote and image. Keep confidential customer material out of prompts unless your organization permits its use in that Adobe account. If a needed fact or permission is missing, leave the associated post blocked.

Use a small ledger with an ID for each item. For example, the fields can be `claim_or_quote_id`, `exact_approved_text`, `source_or_speaker`, `evidence_url_or_file`, `rights_and_allowed_channels`, `asset_id`, `approval_owner` and `approval_revision`. These are fields to fill from your own records, not sample campaign facts. Decide which actual Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, audiences and time zone the month is for. Check who has authority to connect and schedule each account.

**Check:** An owner can trace every proposed sentence and quotation to its source and permission. **If it fails:** get the missing approval or remove the line; do not ask AI to supply a plausible substitute.

## Make a visual system in Adobe Express

**2. Apply the existing brand to one sample page.** [Adobe's brand controls](https://helpx.adobe.com/express/web/brands-libraries-projects/create-manage-brands/apply-brand-colors-fonts.html) can apply selected colors and fonts across pages. Check the logo, type, contrast and placement yourself on the sample and on each subsequent page. A brand setting is a starting point, not a rights or accuracy review.

**3. Generate candidates for backgrounds, then add the words in editable type.** In Adobe Express, choose **Generate AI → Generate image**, describe the visual, and, if permitted, add a style or composition reference. Adobe documents selecting a result, opening it in the editor and downloading it. Keep the prompt, reference rights and selected asset ID beside the ledger. Reject images that depict an unapproved product, person, place or factual scene. Generate a new candidate or use licensed imagery if the image or plan allowance fails. [Adobe's image-generation instructions](https://helpx.adobe.com/express/web/image-creation-and-editing/generate-and-edit-with-ai/text-to-image.html) establish the controls, not the accuracy of a result.

```text
Create a text-free background for [approved topic or visual subject] in [approved brand palette and style]. Leave clear space for editable slide text. Use [permitted style or composition reference, if any]. Avoid logos, identifiable people, products, data displays and factual scenes unless the owner supplied and approved them. The image must not contain a quotation or claim.
```

**Check:** The owner accepts the depiction and can read overlay text at phone size. **If it fails:** reject the candidate, revise the prompt or reference, and inspect a new result. Do not treat a generated image as evidence for the copy laid over it.

## Export two genuinely different carousels

**4. Build an Instagram image carousel.** Choose one real, approved topic and map a short sequence: an approved opening question or fact, sourced points, a practical takeaway within the evidence, then an authorized call to action or an ending without one. Five slides are a workable editorial template, not a platform requirement. Adobe Express supports [adding, duplicating and reordering pages](https://helpx.adobe.com/au/express/web/arrange-layers-and-pages/add-pages.html). Use consistently sized pages, place approved imagery, and set the exact checked wording as editable text. Review the order, crop, source accuracy and logo on every page. Export the pages as individual JPEG or PNG images and reopen the files in sequence.

Adobe's [Content Scheduler media specifications](https://helpx.adobe.com/express/web/publish-and-share/schedule-manage-posts/media-specifications.html) list up to 10 JPEG/PNG images for an Instagram business carousel, each at most 8 MB, with image aspect ratio from 4:5 to 1.91:1 and width from 320 to 1440 pixels. Check the current specification again when uploading, since the account and product can change. Preview the first and last slide on a phone, including text near crop edges. Keep the ordered file names and approved caption revision in the calendar row.

**Check:** The intended Instagram composer accepts the actual ordered images and its preview shows every slide correctly. **If it fails:** correct size, order, crop or text, export again and reopen the files before another upload.

**5. Make a separate LinkedIn document carousel.** Use a different, LinkedIn-appropriate approved topic or a deliberate adaptation of the same source. Assemble consistently sized pages with exact checked text in Adobe Express, then export the approved sequence as **one PDF**. Reopen the PDF, count and read every page, check links and title, and inspect whether layers need flattening. Adobe documents [PDF export troubleshooting](https://helpx.adobe.com/express/web/troubleshoot/performance-issues/download-export-stuck.html); [LinkedIn's document guidance](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a518909) recommends PDF, consistent page size and flattened or merged layers. LinkedIn allows one document per post, at most 100 MB and 300 pages. Viewers can download it, and the attached document cannot be replaced after posting. Keep its exact file name, document title, caption and approval revision together.

This is a paginated **PDF document post**. Hootsuite says LinkedIn's API does not let it publish the separate native carousel post type, while its own composer does accept a single PDF document. Adobe Express's listed LinkedIn scheduler media cover images, video and GIF, so do not infer PDF scheduling there from its Instagram carousel support.

**Check:** The final PDF opens with the intended pages in order and the selected LinkedIn document composer accepts that exact file. **If it fails:** correct the PDF before upload. If a supported scheduling route is unavailable for the account, keep the row blocked at scheduling, even when the PDF itself is approved.

**6. Make the quote cards from permitted words.** Enter the exact quote and attribution as editable text over an approved background. Record the speaker or source, date and context when relevant, permission and allowed channels. Export channel-specific image variants and compare the punctuation and attribution in each reopened file with the source. A generated line or attractive paraphrase is not a quotation. Keep a card blocked if the speaker or reuse permission cannot be verified.

## Fill every day of the calendar

**7. Create 30 consecutive dated rows in the owner's time zone.** Start from the approved first posting date and increment the local calendar date once for each row. Choose a real topic and content pillar for each day, then link its checked claim or quote IDs, exact asset files, caption revision and authorized call to action. Mix formats only where the approved material supports them. A weekly recap, for instance, needs real previously approved material; it is not a reason to invent a result. AI can propose wording for review, but the editor must compare it with the ledger. Adobe's [caption generator](https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/express/web/publish-and-share/share-to-social-media/caption-writer.html) only interprets the first image in a carousel, so it cannot check the complete sequence for you.

Use one row per intended post. A day with two posts needs two records tied to the same date. This header is a blank working schema, not a completed calendar:

```text
day_number,local_date,local_time,time_zone,pillar,approved_topic,channel,exact_account,audience,format,visual_theme,ordered_asset_ids,claim_or_quote_ids,caption_revision,cta_and_destination,rights_checked,owner_decision,route,saved_post_id,status,last_readback_at
```

For **each** of days 01–30, replace the generic idea with a specific approved topic and populate every field that applies. Set status to `blocked` when a claim, asset, quote permission, account role, posting route or approval is missing. `ready` means the complete export and copy have passed review but no schedule has been verified. `scheduled` requires a saved platform readback. The series is ready to schedule only when all 30 rows have actual dates, subjects, files, copy, rights and owner decisions; blocked rows stay visible as unfinished work.

You can use AI to draft a caption from approved text, with a prompt that asks it to flag gaps:

```text
Draft a caption for [actual channel and audience] using only the approved wording and facts in claim IDs [IDs]. Refer to the reviewed slide order [asset IDs]. Use only the authorized call to action and destination [approved CTA]. List any claim, quote or benefit that lacks evidence instead of filling the gap. Return a draft for human review, not a final post.
```

**Check:** There are exactly 30 dated daily decisions, each linked to the right channel and actual account, with its own assets, caption revision, CTA, rights decision and status. **If it fails:** keep the missing rows blocked and finish the evidence or files before calling the month ready.

## Schedule only through a supported account route

**8. Schedule eligible Instagram rows in the verified account.** Adobe says automatic Instagram publishing needs a Business or Creator account linked to a Facebook Page the user manages. [Check the connection and permissions](https://helpx.adobe.com/express/web/publish-and-share/share-to-social-media/connect-instagram-business.html) before choosing a post. In Adobe Express, the documented flow is **Share → Schedule post**, select the channel, add media, caption and alt text, then choose a future date and time. Inspect the preview and confirm the exact account, audience, ordered slides, caption and local time zone before the authorized owner schedules it. Reopen the scheduled item and compare its saved details with the row. After the due time, inspect the published or failed state and the actual post. [Adobe's scheduling help](https://helpx.adobe.com/express/web/publish-and-share/share-to-social-media/schedule-publish-social-posts.html) describes the composer; only the account readback establishes your result.

**9. Schedule the PDF document through a verified LinkedIn route.** First inspect the intended LinkedIn profile or Page's own composer with the approved PDF attached. Use its scheduling control only if it actually permits that document on that account. [LinkedIn's Page help](https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a1428900) allows a super admin or content admin to schedule eligible posts from one hour to three months ahead in local time, but its help does not expressly guarantee document scheduling in every composer. It also excludes several other post formats. Check the PDF and scheduling control together.

If that control is absent, an authorized Hootsuite account offers a documented route. [Hootsuite's LinkedIn post instructions](https://help.hootsuite.com/s/article/create-li), updated September 28, 2026, allow **one PDF** of up to 100 MB and 300 pages on a connected LinkedIn Page or profile, with **Schedule for later**. Select LinkedIn alone when attaching the PDF; Hootsuite does not combine it with other networks or image/video media in the same post, and it cannot rename the PDF inside its composer. [Connecting a Page](https://help.hootsuite.com/s/article/connect-li) requires LinkedIn Page Super Admin status plus appropriate Hootsuite organization connection permission. Check that the available plan has the needed accounts and features before committing to it. No plan price or entitlement is assumed here.

In the chosen route, compare the exact Page or profile, audience or visibility, PDF file and title, caption, authorized date and local time zone in the preview. Let the account owner schedule only after those match. Reopen the [Hootsuite calendar](https://help.hootsuite.com/s/article/create-and-schedule) or LinkedIn's scheduled list, where available, and save the post identity and scheduled status in that row. Hootsuite's calendar also lets the owner inspect later published or failed status; then check the actual LinkedIn post. If neither native document scheduling nor an authorized Hootsuite plan and connection is available, the LinkedIn scheduling step remains **blocked**. A manual handoff or an Instagram-only schedule does not complete this account task.

**Check:** Every scheduled row has a saved post under the intended account, with matching file, copy, audience, date and time zone. After its posting time, the row records published or failed status and a link or ID for the actual post when one exists. **If the result is uncertain:** inspect the scheduled list and connection before retrying; a second submission may duplicate the post.
