# Google CC turns a personal agent into a shared household coordinator

Google's [September 17 expansion of experimental CC](https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/models-and-research/google-labs/cc-expanding-to-groups/) gives up to six adults a shared agent with its own Google account.

The [original CC](https://blog.google/innovation-and-ai/models-and-research/google-labs/cc-ai-agent/) connected one user's Gmail, Calendar and Drive to a morning briefing and accepted email requests. That earlier design centered planning on one connected account.

## The big change

- **What changed:** Members contribute selected information to a common brief, calendar and task list.
- **Why it matters:** The source of a plan's context and permission to act on it are different questions. Sharing an item does not settle both.
- **What to watch:** CC needs permission before acting or sharing outside the group.

## Contributions and memory

Members can share selected email senders automatically, send items by email or Chat, share Drive material or add CC to a Calendar.

Google distinguishes household and individual memories without explaining who can view each. Categorization alone does not establish a privacy control.

## Who can join

Access covers U.S. adults with personal Google accounts. Existing users get upgrade emails; newcomers can join the [waitlist](https://labs.google.com/cc/).
