To make an original Seedance 2.0 video, start with a scene you can authorize, set a limit for one Dreamina generation, and inspect the saved clip before sharing it. This guide is for a creator whose account currently offers Seedance 2.0 and who has authority over the concept, intended use and budget. It follows official instructions checked on 23 October 2026. BIG CHANGE did not use a Dreamina account, generate a clip, test a block or observe a charge.

## The big change

- **What changed:** Dreamina documents a [Seedance 2.0 text-to-video route](https://dreamina.capcut.com/tools/seedance-2-0) with model, setting, generation and download controls.
- **Why it matters:** A text-only original brief avoids uploading a face or protected reference; the creator still checks the prompt and generated result.
- **What to watch:** [CapCut's rollout statement](https://www.capcut.com/newsroom/dreamina-seedance-2) describes restrictions on certain real-face references and unauthorized IP. The current account controls and applicable terms determine the actual attempt.

## Before you start

You need an authorized Dreamina account that *actually shows* Seedance 2.0, an original idea for one short clip, a private place to save the creation record below, and a maximum credit spend you approve before generating. Check the model and region shown in your account. Feature access, settings and credits can vary; a tool page does not establish what your particular account offers. If Seedance 2.0 is absent, hold this attempt rather than substituting a different model under the same instructions.

Decide where the finished clip might appear: a private draft, a social post, a client's campaign or another destination. That choice affects the permissions and disclosure rules you must check. A paid subscription, a completed generation and a Download button do not themselves clear a commercial use or another person's rights. Read the applicable account terms and destination rules before release.

This route starts with text and **no uploaded image, video, face, audio or other reference**. You can consider an authorized reference later under its own current rules, but a rights document cannot force the service to accept an input. CapCut described the real-face reference limit as part of its *initial rollout*, with updates through 7 April 2026; that statement does not establish a universal face ban in every account today. The [Dreamina help page](https://dreamina.capcut.com/help) directs users to read the displayed restriction and contact support when they think it is mistaken. Its [community guidelines](https://www.capcut.com/clause/dreamina-community-guidelines?lang=en&region=US) address infringing content and access restrictions; check the version that applies in your region.

## 1. Clear the idea and inputs

Write a one-sentence goal: who or what moves, what happens, where, and the intended audience. Make an inventory of any proposed reference, sound, voice, logo, character or person. For each, identify its source and owner, permission to upload it to Dreamina, and permission for the intended output use. Leave it out if any permission is unclear. Keep proof privately; do not put personal or license details in a public prompt.

Use the following decision before you spend credits:

**Your own non-identifying scene, without a reference upload:** Proceed to the text-only attempt, subject to Dreamina's current decision.

**A real person's face, voice or footage:** Check consent, rights and current product rules. If the feature rejects it, stop using that input. A stylized lookalike is not a way around the same restriction.

**A recognizable character, logo, branded design or protected scene:** Remove it and design a genuinely original subject. If you have a license, check its precise scope and ask the service about an approved route; acceptance is not guaranteed.

**A blocked prompt or upload with an unclear reason:** Save the exact message, model and input type privately. Read the applicable rule and use support if you think it is an error. Do not repeatedly disguise the same request.

For a practice brief, an unmarked paper kite lifting from a tabletop in an otherwise empty studio is one original *input idea*. It is not an observed Seedance result. Replace it with your own authorized concept if you prefer. Do not reuse a familiar character's distinctive design under a new name.

At this point, you should have a scene brief and a list of permitted inputs. Put the attempt on hold if any right remains unclear.

## 2. Set one attempt and its cost limit

Open Dreamina's **AI Video** area, choose **Dreamina Seedance 2.0** if your account offers it, and use a text prompt without adding references. The [official tool guide](https://dreamina.capcut.com/tools/seedance-2-0) describes choosing the model, duration, aspect ratio and resolution, then using **Generate**, preview and **Download**. The public page also lists Seedance 2.5 and other 2.0 variants, so verify the exact model shown before paying. Read the controls in your own account; names, choices and cost can change. Choose a short duration for this first check, the aspect ratio for your intended destination and a resolution sufficient to judge the result. Do not select a reference mode for this text-only attempt.

Write the model, mode, settings and **displayed** credit cost in your record. Set a maximum for the first attempt and a maximum number of quality revisions you would authorize. If the cost is missing, exceeds your limit, or you cannot establish whether this setting uses credits, stop. [Dreamina help](https://dreamina.capcut.com/help) directs users to their own account for current credits, features and plan prices; a public promotion or free access claim is not a per-generation quote. Optional editing, upscale or interpolation may have separate costs; approve those separately if you use them.

Here is a **sample prompt to adapt as reader input**, not a scene we generated or a promise about the result:

```prompt
An unmarked paper kite rises slowly from a plain wooden tabletop in an empty sunlit studio. One continuous medium-wide shot with a gentle upward camera tilt and soft shadows. No people, logos, text, dialogue, music or recognizable characters. The kite lifts, turns once and settles near the open window.
```

Review your final prompt for borrowed likenesses, protected designs and sensitive information. Describe desired motion and framing plainly. The prompt expresses a request; it cannot grant rights or guarantee that every detail appears.

Save the approved prompt, actual account settings and maximum spend together. Record a hold if you cannot establish any of them.

## 3. Generate once and settle uncertainty before a retry

Recheck the model, text-only mode, prompt, settings and displayed cost. Select **Generate once**. Record the time, any project or job identifier the account shows, and the observed credit balance or deduction. A slow page or closed browser does not prove that no job was submitted or charged. If the outcome is uncertain, inspect the account's existing projects or history and balance before trying again. If those cannot settle it, hold and use the service's support route; do not pay for a diagnostic duplicate.

If Dreamina blocks the prompt, record its exact message and input type. Stop that version of the request. A genuinely new original concept can start again at step 1 with fresh rights and cost checks. If you believe an authorized input was blocked by mistake, the [help route](https://dreamina.capcut.com/help) is the appropriate place to ask. Neither permission nor a support request guarantees acceptance. Changing models or services also requires its own rules, cost and rights review; it does not make a rejected imitation permissible.

The attempt now has one of three recorded states: a completed project, a specific block, or an unresolved job or charge hold. An on-screen completed label does not approve the content.

## 4. Watch the whole clip and inspect the saved file

Play the **entire** generated clip, with sound on and off. Compare the actual subject, motion, setting, camera movement, duration, framing and audio with your approved brief. Look at every frame for an unexpected person, recognizable likeness, logo, character, protected expression, unwanted text, distortion or misleading detail. A thumbnail cannot reveal the full result. Record defects in your own words; an ordinary quality revision is different from trying to bypass a restriction. If you revise, make a creative change only within the budget you approved and keep the first attempt's cost and outcome in the record.

If the clip is suitable for further use, select **Download** in the product. Find the file on your device, open it, and play it fully again. Record its file name, byte size, format, length, dimensions and whether audio is present. An optional SHA-256 checksum helps you identify the same file later. Check for visible watermarks or provenance information and keep any applicable label or Content Credentials intact. [CapCut's safeguards statement](https://www.capcut.com/newsroom/dreamina-seedance-2) discusses watermarking and C2PA, but inspect your actual file rather than assuming every output contains the same mark.

Before sharing, compare the file with the permissions for the intended use and the destination's disclosure rules. A download confirms a saved file, not commercial clearance or permission to use a likeness. If the file is absent or will not play, check the completed project and download state. Do not generate again merely to fix a local save problem.

Keep the full playback and local file checks in your record. If the clip or download fails a check, describe the specific hold.

## Copy this one-clip creation record

Copy this blank record into a **private** document and fill it with what your account and file actually show. It is a working form, not a BIG CHANGE test result. Keep personal details, licenses, balance and prompt out of a public version.

- Owner and intended use or publication destination:
- Original scene goal, subject and action:
- Proposed references and each owner's upload and output permissions, or “none”:
- Person, likeness, character, logo, voice or music check and resolution:
- Account region and applicable feature terms checked at:
- Model and text or reference mode actually offered:
- Duration, aspect ratio, resolution, audio and other actual settings:
- Displayed credit cost, approved maximum and revision limit:
- Final prompt approved at; private storage location:
- Generate time, project or job ID if shown, and observed credit change:
- If blocked: exact message, input type, support route and decision:
- If uncertain: history or project and balance readback before any retry:
- Full playback: subject, motion, framing, duration, sound, text, faces, IP and quality:
- Downloaded file name, byte size, format, duration, dimensions, full-play check and optional SHA-256:
- Watermark or Content Credentials and destination disclosure check:
- Final decision: usable / revise within budget / hold; evidence and owner decision:

Mark **usable** only after the local file opens, full playback matches an authorized original brief, actual cost fits the approval, and the planned use passes your terms and disclosure checks. Mark **revise within budget** for an ordinary quality problem with known remaining credits. Mark **hold** for uncertain rights, a block, an unexplained charge, a missing or unplayable file, unexpected protected content or a terms conflict. Preserve the evidence and ask the relevant rightsholder, Dreamina support or release owner to settle the specific issue.

The earlier BIG CHANGE [Higgsfield video guide](https://bigchange.ai/blog/codex-higgsfield-one-authorized-video-guide) covers an authorized paid API request, request-ID recovery, download and charge check. This Dreamina guide uses the creator interface to make and assess one original clip under current face and IP restrictions.
