Alerts are a separate choice from the newsletter. Turn them on once on each phone, tablet or desktop where you want them. You can turn them off here at any time, or change the permission in your device settings.
On iPhone and iPad, add BIG CHANGE to your Home Screen and open the installed app before turning on notifications. On desktop, use your installed app or browser. Your device will ask for permission.
