Estonian company Roleo says it has raised €2.9 million for its AI career agent. Practica Capital led the round, with Inventure participating; the company says total funding has reached €3.46 million.
The big change
- Roleo describes a service that looks for technology jobs based on a candidate’s preferences and offers introductions.
- The company says candidates choose whether to accept an introduction and employers pay when they hire.
- Roleo’s privacy policy describes personal profile and interview data that may be processed by the service and its providers.
How Roleo describes the service
In its November 2 announcement, Roleo says users provide role, salary and location preferences. Its agent searches technology jobs and surfaces suggestions. Roleo says the service is free and candidates stay anonymous to employers until agreeing to an introduction.
Its website describes LinkedIn connection, visibility and notification settings, and says feedback helps improve matching.
What candidates should know
Roleo’s privacy policy, last modified October 28, 2025, says the application may process LinkedIn profile information, job preferences, and AI interview recordings, transcripts and analysis. The policy says interview responses inform personalised recommendations, and service providers may process personal data. It says job-seeker data is retained while an account is active and deleted within 90 days of account deletion, subject to stated exceptions. These are policy statements, not an independent audit of handling.
The service terms disclaim guarantees about match accuracy, employer responses and hiring outcomes. The privacy policy says hiring decisions remain with employers. A suggested opportunity therefore does not itself secure an interview or a job; candidates still need to evaluate the opportunity and decide whether to pursue it.
Roleo says it will use the funding to expand across Europe. BIG CHANGE did not test the service.
