Kochava [announced StationOne Enterprise spending controls on October 22](https://www.globenewswire.com/news-release/2026/10/22/3386510/0/en/kochava-adds-enterprise-controls-to-stationone-to-help-marketers-rein-in-ai-costs.html). For a buyer, the question is whether these settings reduce the cost of work the team accepts.
## The big change
- **What changed:** Kochava says admins can link models, spending and tasks.
- **Why it matters:** A marketing operations lead can compare reported usage with the work the team accepts and examine where a less costly execution path might fit. The control is useful only if its reports reflect that work.
- **What to watch:** A buying decision turns on a demonstration with the team's own work, followed by evidence of accepted output and total cost.
## Where the controls apply
Admins can route by task complexity, set user or team token or dollar budgets, and review overrides, alerts and task reports, Kochava says.
Those descriptions leave purchasing questions open. The release leaves routing criteria and budget stop behavior unspecified. A buyer would need to see how overrides are recorded and how the projected cost is calculated. A cheaper completed task would require evidence of both cost and acceptable output.
The product's existing [model setup documentation](https://support.stationone.ai/articles/settings/101-models-setup/) lists multiple provider connections and says a workspace can select available online or local models. Its [organization documentation](https://support.stationone.ai/articles/organization-management/) describes central policy settings and server-side API keys. These pages explain parts of StationOne's configuration, but neither documents the new router's decision rule or its budget enforcement. Kochava says the Enterprise features are released, without naming a build. The public [release list](https://stationone.ai/download/releases/) shows version 1.10.12 dated October 20, without establishing that version as the Enterprise rollout.
## Work the company says can bypass a full model pass
Kochava describes code-run audience deduplication, appends, reductions and segmentation, plus TypeSafe–Jev calibrated decisions.
Compatible models can optionally run on-device; Kochava gives no hardware matrix. StationOne's [setup guide](https://support.stationone.ai/articles/settings/101-models-setup/) lists Ollama and LM Studio as local connections. An entire workflow may also use cloud models or connected services, so the local option alone establishes no overall privacy guarantee.
No public Enterprise price is given. For a purchaser, the unresolved comparison is the full cost and quality of accepted business work under the selected model, plugins and administrator rules.
