Google's October 22 Marketing Platform update spotlights Gemini-curated inventory bundles in Display & Video 360 Marketplace for live sports and major events. Google had already described Gemini-driven package curation in March. Buyers still choose what to assign.
The big change
- What changed: The October roundup spotlights themed bundles; assignment remains a buyer action.
- Why it matters: Deals start selected, but buyers can narrow the list before assignment.
- What to watch: Existing packages count toward the 50-package line-item ceiling. A buyer may need to deselect new ones.
The buyer's control point
Marketplace's Featured tab offers Bulk assign. A new line item requires an insertion-order choice; an existing one requires a target line item.
View all items lets buyers uncheck packages. New line items accept up to 50. Existing line items must remain within 50 after the addition.
The public pages give no universal bundle price or access rule. BIG CHANGE has not tested the workflow.
