Uber reported about 500 Uber Eats orders and four fulfilled rides from AI agents during Halloween week, executives said on the company’s November 4 earnings call. In the same week, Uber handled around 320 million rides and delivery orders combined.

## Search and checkout are separate steps

Its [Eats help page](https://help.uber.com/ubereats/restaurants/article/chatgpt-integration-for-eaters?nodeId=7e56650b-9482-4a55-a560-1902ba2dd70e) describes discovering restaurants and menus in ChatGPT, then finishing the cart and payment in Uber Eats. The [rides help page](https://help.uber.com/am/riders/article/chatgpt-integration-for-rides?nodeId=afa53c91-a8e0-4306-b18f-9f742bf24252) describes a similar handoff for ride requests.

An assistant can help find an option without placing the order. Uber did not say how this handoff relates to its Halloween count.
