Uber reported about 500 Uber Eats orders and four fulfilled rides from AI agents during Halloween week, executives said on the company’s November 4 earnings call. In the same week, Uber handled around 320 million rides and delivery orders combined.
The big change
- The figures cover one week, not the quarter.
- The agent services, markets and failed attempts are unspecified.
- An assistant search followed by an app checkout differs from an agent placing an order.
What the numbers show
Chief financial officer Balaji Krishnamurthy gave the figures on the call. CEO Dara Khosrowshahi described adoption as early and said Uber would work with third parties.
The figures do not explain low use or future demand. Uber did not fully define agent-sourced transactions; fulfilled activity does not count all attempted orders.
Search and checkout are separate steps
Uber said in February 2026 that its ChatGPT integrations for rides and Eats had launched. Its Eats help page describes discovering restaurants and menus in ChatGPT, then finishing the cart and payment in Uber Eats. The rides help page describes a similar handoff for ride requests.
An assistant can help find an option without placing the order. Uber did not say how this handoff relates to its Halloween count.
